Fave Thanksgiving Books?
As a child, I enjoyed Cranberry Thanksgiving and Cranberry Christmas.
Today, a humorous one of my daughter's I enjoy is Twas the Night Before Thanksgiving. Even if it does imply that eating turkeys is bad, it's all in fun, and very funny. I especially love the illustrations.
What are yours?

We really enjoy the book, "I Know An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Pie" by Allison Jackson & Illustrated by Judith Byron Schachner. Throughout the book she eats a variety of Thanksgiving foods and by the end of the book, they are trying to hold her down because she is floating away from eating too much. I won't give the ending away, but my kids get a kick out of it and laugh everytime they read it.
That is a great book! Emily loves it. We try to get, when they are inexpensive (like, $1.50 lol) in the school book flyers, the "I Know an Old (variable) Who Swallowed A (variable)". Like, I Know a Bold Lady Who Wanted a Star", or something like that.
We've also got, "I Know a Shy Fellow Who Swallowed a Cello".
Emily thinks it is so silly that she gets bigger, and bigger!
And the things she eats!
